7 years on and this happened today
Iโm not being tight keeping it this long, itโs a great car! (Still not sold on D5 or new Deffener)

Still going. We kept it 8.5 years now
My propensity to change this car is still low.
Bloody centre console squeaks though! Apart from that seems to be holding together.

I do like to keep regular updates coming ๐๐๐๐
Next update in 12 months or 100k or if they release a Disco6 which i like ๐ but until then for me this is still the best family and dog hauling Land Rover they have designed and there is nothing new that is better.
Weโve looked at the new 110 and D5 and they are both good and in many ways a step forward, but also in some ways a step backwards.
D5 too big and ugly, less boot space, complicated seats.
110 has restricted access to the boot and seats donโt fold completely flat and is silly money now.
Land Roverโs latest models are only giving me a reason to keep it.
Still looks good, still drives great, still feels like a new car after nearly 9 years of daily hammer. ๐

At the last service i was informed the side steps were corroded and could do with replacing
Turns out he wasn't kidding when my foot went straight though one.
Anyway bought some shonky quality OE replacements for ยฃ100 and set too with a hacksaw. If the Genuine LR ones only last 8 years no point getting genuine.
What a pain of a job, every bolt had decided to rust weld itself to the brackets. Then the shonky new steps didn't fit. What i thought would be a quick hour took the best part of a day.
