New Defender wheels on D3 ?

Just a quick question for anyone in the know.. Would a set of alloys removed from a L663 Defender fit my D3 ? I believe they will, but just want to double check.

Thanks

They will fit but will potentially rub due to the larger tyre size... this was mentioned on here last summer I think..

As above the wheels fit, it just depends what tyres you fit. I know a few people have fitted the steel wheels. The standard tyre on the steels is 255/70/18 I think, which is what I had on mine D3, but I had to raise the suspension and still got a bit if rubbing if I hit a dip or something.

I’d also check the Defender wheel offset v the D3/4 wheel offset, as that alone could be a cause for potential rubbing.

The offset appears to be about 10mm less.. I can never remember, does this mean they would stick out more or less ?

As far as I’m aware, the lower the et number, then the more the wheel will protrude.

I can confirm, the lower the ET, the further the wheel will 'stick out'.
