New member looking for someone in Devon to activate xenons!
Hi all,
I am new to the forum and slowly upgrading my d4 xs bit by bit. My latest upgrade is the addition of xenon headlights, I have them plugged in and the led sidelights are working, but I presume they need activating for the main xenon beams to work. I have tried taking them to a local specialist with diagnostic equipment, to no avail! Just wondering if there was anyone on here who has experienced the same problems with an IID tool who is able to activate them for me?

It might be worth trying Woody32 as he is probably your most local site sponsor that should be able to do this.

Thanks for the information I took it to landrover4u this morning and they had an auto logic diagnostic system. They said there was no option to activate the xenons or other options such as the 4x4 display. They also seemed to think my new lights weren't compatible as my discovery is a 2010 and they said the LEDs (sidelights) were only fitted on 2011 onward discoverys, is this the case? I thought they were standard on all discovery 4 HSE models? Mine also have adaptive, but I presume I need an additional module for this function to work?
