Picked this up last week and finaly got around to checking it out today.

Its not one of the Big Brand names but for £150 all in for Roof Tent and Shower tent i think i did not bad.
So,want to start using it as soon as and was thinking of getting some kind of external FBH,can anyone recommend a good one.
There are velcro flaps at the pivot pionts and i was thinking of having an external heater blowing hot air in there,is there such a thing.
I was also thinking that when i do my dual Batt install i might run a 12v feed upto it for some lighting, overkill?
Thanks for any answers.

Hi
I used a propex heater mounted on the roof rack and powered from the aux battery with the not air ducted through the pivot point flaps.

I'd probably wire in a strip or two of LED's, with switches in the sleeping area and in the shower area. 2014 D4 XS

Can probably do the inside but i think they might get in the way of the ladders in the shower tent.

Semi-OTT: I've had a rooftop tent for 6 years now. One issue that's heat-related is sweat condensation at the mattress bottom on the board. Found a flat heating pad which fits under the mattress and keeps the board dry. It also makes for a warm bed to crawl into. We can get semi-cold nights (say -5 deg C) in the Oz desert in winter so the heater helps. Look at the Trakker Peach Skin 5 season carp fishing sleeping bag. Cooking wise you could go for the Jet Boil complete set up or I like the MSR Reactor. Don't worry about the cooking gear as I normally knock up scran anyway. Going upto Kielder in a few weeks if your up for it ?Club Exped trailer
