new SE now just 57 miles in
Hi Guys & KDP Villa
Picked up our new SE yesterday and very very pleased. Sorry to see the old 56 plate D3 manual 5 seat go, which served us well including 7 trips into Southern Europe with mobile shed, but this new vehicle ticks many boxes, perhaps for the rest of our caravanning/travelling days. Wakefield Guy Salmon were excellent.
So just a few pics for today.
the clouds in the reflections of the privacy glass are very artistic maybe Landrover could add them as an extra £50 per cloud
ad blue thingy

The grey bit below the number plate, its the front towing eye cover, it clips in at the top and is held by turn button type clips at the bottom, several have had them come loose and others have lost them!
I've found mine to have sprung out at the top at one side and when its pushed back in, the other side can pop out!
Just keep an eye on it, mine has 656 miles on the clock now! 8)

yes, just glad we took delivery in time to get used to it, very pleased, very capable, beats anything I have ever looked at. The old green oval gets under your skin, owned Land rovers for over 20 years now, I think it will see us through the next ten years unless the new Disco tugs at my bank balance.

re the RLD spare wheel protector, the MY16 has the spare inverted (due to DEF tank ?)and a 'protector' of sorts already in place. Its a full size plastic cover with slots (drainage) but the centre area appears to be steel so offers some anti theft protection - but I'm sure the scumbags will be planning a workaround
I have an RLD from my D3 but there's no way it would fit!
Another +1 for a wheel protector.
Sump guard does away with the worry about the towing eye cover.Paul.

Not an option, compulsory for Euro6. MY16 & onwards.
