Welcome to the forum, somebody did say last week that the only change they were aware of was that the full size spare is now standard but I don't think Land Rover have officially said anything yet Cheers Ian

Full Size Spare Wheel & Protective Cover
At 16MY, all Discovery models will feature a full size spare wheel as standard, with a new
protective cover to prevent possible damage when driving off-road. This will also provide a further
benefit of increasing the security of the spare wheel.
Taken from the MY16 model brief, I have the whole document as a PDF but don't know how to link/upload it here

I have just been advised by the dealer that it would be worth waiting for the MY16 model.
Apparently it has a Euro 6 compliant engine with adblue? Have heard mixed reviews about adblue….

The introduction of EU6b emissions regulations affects all registrations from 1st September 2015 for M1 Passenger vehicles.
For Discovery this change reduces the emissions of the SDV6 256ps engine to 203g/km (previously 213g/km) and improves the combined fuel economy to 36.7mpg (previously 35.3mpg). No pricing action taken has been taken.
The EU6b emissions standard has been achieved with the introduction of a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) after-treatment system to all diesel cars which sprays the DEF solution into the exhaust system to neutralise harmful gases, specifically CO2 and nitrogen oxide. This in turn reduces emissions of nitrogen oxide by half compared to the EU5 standard. DEF is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionized water.
The N1 Commercial derivative (Commercial SE in the UK) is not affected by the transition to EU6b until one year later. Therefore at 16MY these vehicles will retain EU5 status and will not be fitted with the EU6b system. They will therefore continue with the same fuel economy and CO² figures at 15MY (SDV6 188kw = 213g/km).
Engine Variant Gearbox CO2 emissions MPG (combined) SDV6 256ps Eu6b 8 Speed Auto 203g 36.7 mpg SDV6 256ps Eu5 (Commercial) 8 Speed Auto 213g 35.3 mpg
Changes to EU6b affected cars are as follows:
Addition of a 17.8L DEF tank situated above the spare wheel
Addition of a DEF filler cap conveniently adjacent to the fuel filler cap (see below).
Again above from the MY16 brief

So, the filler is at just the right height if you run out of the "official" urea then

Thanks for the replies and messages particularly Biffysun, the tow bar does look neat and is on my list. The full size spare wheel is good news, I tow quite a bit and into Europe for main holidays in August and obtained a full size spare for my current Disco. Not sure about the new emission regulations. I have heard the DEF/urea stuff is quite expensive. Would like to see the full 2016 MY spec.
Have just washed and leathered my current disco (only a 56 plate 5 seat base model in silver) but stood back and wondered if I was making a mistake changing. Never missed a beat from new apart from exhaust gas recycling valves blanking off in 74000 miles. This waiting for a delivery date is hard work. Common Landrover get yer finger out
