Scotland 2015 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 SE Tech Auto Zambezi SilverDiscovery 4

We're going to look at a SE Tech demonstrator tomorrow to replace our D3. We have a Discovery Sport HSE on order since August, but the order is still on hold. Don't know what is happening with them, but it doesn't inspire any confidence.
A D4 SE Tech has all the stuff we need, so it looks like we may soon be on our 5th Discovery

Ditch the Sport. I did, kept it for 4 months then chopped it in for a real Disco. It's good to be back.

When I think of the poor cars released by LR recently (Evoque - style over substance, DS - all round tacky and dull) I do wince at the thought at what the D5 will be. Even the nearly-excellent RRS2 has been ruined by cheap interior trim and overly thin bodywork.

Confused

Ah yes, the terrible sagging cheap leather. Don't forget the self-dinting interior upper door trim either.

One thinks they took the weight saving on the RRS2 a little far.

Also

Just noticed that because of Adblue tank, the spare wheel is fitted the opposite way round, so uncle Ray's spare wheel protector wont fit Evil or Very Mad

It has a plastic spare "cover", but dont know how good the OEM protection is. Will need to take a look

Anybody else noticed?

Uncle Ray is on the case according to other tbreads on this subject. The wheel is just as vulnerable as the cable can still be accessed. Plus that plastic cover is going to protect about as well as an empty tissue box. Rolling Eyes

If you're going to sell your existing wheel protector, give me a shout. I'm about to purchase a '14 SE Tech and I don't think the 18" wheel protector on the XS will work with 19" wheels.
