Next Disco (D5 or whatever its being called), I'm told, is going to be at least 7k more than existing D4 for the same spec "model".
Its one of the reasons I've just gone for another D4, as I think this could well be my last new LR - just getting too expensive.

I've got mine sat at LR Bordeaux (French spec HSE is very close to UK SE in Loire Blue / Almond) awaiting conversion to a commercial, but not sure if the dealers will deliver in the remaining 10 days I've given them...grr.

The dealers seem to place orders so that they have some que'd up, and they had one in the spec and colour I was after, so got lucky. If they hadnt, it would have been next march

If you're going to sell your existing wheel protector, give me a shout. I'm about to purchase a '14 SE Tech and I don't think the 18" wheel protector on the XS will work with 19" wheels.

That's the same scenario as mine dealer had cars on order, my one was destined to spend its life as an HSE Lux until I came along and brought it back down to earth and specced it as an SE 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Nice car, did you get the 16my new infotainment interface?
All dealers have slots allocated to them, if they have a customer, you get that slot...if they don't they spec it themselves with popular specs they will sell.
All cars are sold at production, they are either sold to a dealer or sold to dealer for a specific customer.
I have 1 new one each year, been lucky twice or three times that the spec wanted was going to, or had been built, so got them in weeks...the last 3/4, including two this year are all my build slot and spec, planned a bit better...also I tend to like odd options.
Dealers tend to look after regulars too, I think sometimes they will give up slots to regulars...doubt I'll be getting a disco next though...so interesting timesMike

Yes it has the new Infotainment interface - not sure I like this part as much as the old style interface
