Available at the forecourts, any reviews? I’ve noticed the engine is a lot quieter on my SDV6 Discovery 4

I’m currently running my tank down so I can fill it up with premium diesel.
But what’s special about this new Shell v-power diesel over all the others? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

At the risk of being flippant, the extra price of V-power is what is used to pay the senior executives bonuses!
I'm sure a grown up will be along soon with a sensible comment. Cheers,

Fair point! I guess you're allowed to be cynical as it's pretty good timing to distract from their astonishing pay cheques. I filled up at my local Shell next to Heathrow airport 1.81p per litre, with 3 pence off per lt. if you use their app and scan the code.
On their website the claim is that with continued use, "the fuels can clean up to 100% of performance-robbing deposits on engine parts, and that tests have shown that continued use of Shell V-Power prevents the future build-up of these deposits."
It has 30% more additives which help clean valves and injectors. Would be interesting to see the economy on the mpg but at the moment it's certainly quietened the engine down a fair bit! Discovery 4

Hi,
how much extra is it over the standard shandy mix (%Bio!)
as the price varies so much between garages anyway,
mostly near me its £1.65-7 but a garage I pass odd times is £159.9 fill up when I pass that one.
The standard un-leaded 95 is £1.48
and the 97 is £1.59
with super duper 99 at about £1.68

I don’t know where you are filling up but you’re not 20 miles from me and the cheapest diesel I can find is Sainsbury’s and that’s £1.68 for basic diesel, filled up 2 hours ago It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

The post was about the fuel quality not the price! Certainly wouldn’t be filling up my cars with anything other than premium. Discovery 4

Guess I must have misread the above but I’m sure it states 1.81p per litre. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Shell as a company will be predominantly paid in USD, as the oil and gas markets are dominated by that one currency. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

As a long term Shell loyalty scheme member and user, I’m surprised not to have seen any forecourt advertising for this. It’s on my Shell app. but not exactly blazoned.
I might give it a go for a few months.

I'm afraid that went over your head - check out the spelling of "cheque" in the quotes.
