New van coming

Sold our old van a couple of weeks ago. It was a 6 berth sa, triple bunks. Was fine when the boys were small Smile . However eldest boys are now over 6ft and not really interested being late teens. So 2018 Swift conquer 645 bought at the weekend.

This is our third van and should do us a while now that we have better layout. Need to make sure it’s well used as it wasn’t cheap Surprised

Now deciding on movers and will we won’t we ?! Oh and insurance will jump a huge amount!

After a Google, that’s a jolly nice looking van!

Enjoy. Thumbs Up

MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!

Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!

Very nice 😎
We have the same issue with the triple bunks being too tight for the kids as they grow. Looking at new layouts but don’t really want a fixed bed as they take up half the van during the day and tend to be quite a bit smaller than the traditional made up bed up front which we find really comfortable.
One option is to move the bunk heights to create a twin bunk setup with more headroom, I need to investigate the mounting points in the structure.
We’ll see what 2019 line ups throw up next month.

Very nice. I am currently in the position of trying to modify bunks to contain two just-walking 1.5 year olds. It’s surprising that caravan manufacturers aren’t designing intelligent sleep solutions that cater for young age children over their first few years from cot age through to ‘first bed’ age without you having to try and modify and adapt beds yourself.
