Thanks for all your help and advice.
I just did the deed on a 3.0 D4 HSE in White/Almond-Arabica. March build June delivery (they could have done a Feb build but I don't want it until June) the only factory option was the eDiff. When you consider mudflaps are $1300, the diff is a bargain at $1060! I would have gone for the mudflaps and side protection strips but at the aforementioned $1300 for the flaps and $800 for the side protection, I think I can find a more economical alternative after sale!
I ended up going with Trivett's at Alexandria as it turns out a wholesaler mate of mine has a relationship with them and got the quotes. There is some "flexibility" on price but nobody is cutting their throat on this model at the moment, which I suppose is good in the long run.
