NEWBIE + X-DEMO GS = ?
Hi all,
Just taken the plunge and swapped my 3 year old Bmw 325d msport tourer for a three month old demo D4 GS in Silver with a few extra's. Bright pack, Xenons, Piano black, Cruise, full size spare and persuaded the dealer to fit mud flaps and rear privacy in the deal.
Hope i'm doin the right thing? Never had a Landy before. last couple of cars have both been beemers and i wont knock them they've been excellent not even a bulb blown in 5 years of motoring.
Hopefully pick the D4 up end of next week.Can't wait love at first test drive?

you have gone a bit more adventurous path with LR but you might enjoy it as all of us here...

I am not completley new to the 4x4. i have a Navara for work and it also comes in handy a shooting bus.
But the wife has to cart half a football team round at the week ends and was threatening to buy a people carrier to replace the BM so i had to step in, and my my what a perfect excuse to buy a Discovery.
I think it will suit both our needs perfectly.
Just need to decide what accesories to fit first.+how to upload a photo i took yesyerday on test drive.

since we got our D3 there was a few issues with it (normal) but it took us across Europ a few time so far with no single issue every time around 3-4K within 2-3 weeks so getting a bit more refined D4 would only mean bigger permagrin
