Heading via M1/A1-M6 & turning right somewhere on Tue 25th.
Roof rack space available from Newcastle to just south of Brum (M42).
Return either 1st or 2nd July via roughly the same route though can head towards Manchester/Leeds on return.
Will have more internal room on return leg but no rack - could take roof bars if given notice if anything needed. Paul.

Take it you are heading for the Festival of Contemporary and Performing Arts?
Always interesting to have the conversation with school prior to booking tickets and pointing out that it is far more than just a music festival, far, far more!
Camping or caravanning?

D1 300TDi... 2" lift, HD bumpers (both), detachable tow hitch, 9,500lb winch, 235/85/16 muds and plenty of other toys (gone to make way for the next toy...)
Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

Caravanning - last time we camped, we had rain of Biblical proportions (2007) leading to the view that I was now simply too old / soft to do the five day camping endurance thing...
Borrowed an old caravan from someone at the yard, so no real creature comforts other than the fact that we don't need to carry everything in, instead we get the Hill of Death at each end of the day to get to East Caravan fields!
just myself and our daughter so count myself lucky that she still wants to do the whole festival thing with me... Can quite see next year that she will want to do her own thing but we will probably end up doing craft stuff up in the Green Fields and then heading off for bands later.
With a five year old, I suspect you may be heading for Cockmill Meadow as its easy to head down to Kidz Field and the acoustic tent.

Family camping with friends again, did the camper van thing '07 with 9mth old twins, fit or foolish, still can't decide. Paul.
