I've got the same unit fits nicely behind the mirror out of sight cable fed down a pillar behind glove box and into aux power socket that way can unplug/power off if needed

I have just returned a Nextbase 402g to maplins it was the second one as they both had the same problem When the memory card was full there was always a couple of hours missing before it would overwrite its self, I had mine in my truck recording constantly for up to 15 hours. if you guys only do short journeys you may never realise this until you need the footage that's not there as happened in my case, luckily it wasn't anything serious just a rare sighting of some white red deer that are near us

But will the Nextbase work in a MY16? ...... a couple of cameras LRs nearby fitters tried to fit in mine just did not pick up any signal so were useless. So I've been without a dash camera .... Big Cry 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

I've got a Nextbase in my MY16 and it picks up a signal without problems. Did have an issue finding somewhere where it'll stick to the windscreen but now sorted.

So you’re driving near Bournemouth and someone with white hair driving a Honda just pulls out without looking… you’re going to need a large memory card for Christchurch !!!

That's just about spot on...we call them 'hats' over the border in Hampshire as about all you can see peaking out is the hat above the steering wheel.

My Nextbase has been working faultlessly since purchase and after I emailed them asking about smaller mounts they kindly sent me a very neat and small suction mount plus a carry pouch for the camera FOC.
