Just had a Nextbase camera fitted this morning at Halfords and within 30 yards a car pulls out in front of me. Not a drama and low speed but a worthwhile investment.
Do you mind me asking how much they charged for the camera and install? I'm thinking Christmas present!
Not at all,
They had a 10% off flash sale on Monday, so camera was £107.10, 32GB SD card was £9.98 and fitting was £27 including the fitting kit. Had huge reservations about letting Halfords loose on a brand new BMW F11 but it's nice neat job and no cables visible. Plus uploaded the video to the Nextbase site and they are sending a free case for the camera.

I have been thinking about getting a camera for my Disco but was unsure what to get or who to get to fit it. Glad to hear you are happy because from your footage I notice its also my local store. I shall have to drop in and get one sorted now I have a little more confidence in the end result. Thats my Christmas present sorted.

where did Halfords wire it too? did they just hide the cable and let you plug it into the ciggy lighter or did they do a proper job and hide it all behind the dash?Sill protection - LED internal lights - LED reverse lights - boot liner - Dog Guard - Rock sliders
Fed it behind the roof lining, down the A pillar to the back of the glovebox and then piggy backed a fuse. No mess, nothing broken, no rattles and can't see the wire plus the £27 I paid for fitting included the fitting kit.
I still miss my Discovery on occasions, but being able to get down to the Hautes-Pyrénées from the UK on 3/4 tank of diesel at 82mph raises the smugness level. Wouldn't even bother getting it out of the garage if it snowed though.
