Not for me, I don't like the distortion you get. I reckon the steadycam set ups will be bigger once people see how good their videos could be with their current equipment be it an actioncam or phone. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Like above, distortion is to much imo. But I think it still has it's use for some applications.
I use the Feiyu-Tech FY-G3 Gimbal with a GoPro 4+. Still amazes me how steady the shots are with this little device.
Only drawback is that u can't use the waterproof case.
