Well it does depend on where you live Steve... rural country folk have to have some benefits over the city folk and all their amenities
I actually don't live in the City - I'd go fecking stark raving mad if I did (working week is bad enough) - I'm in the burbs just 4 miles from the Peak District National Park Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

How close to the big city though ?
Are you in easy commute for city scrotts to take your car ? Or is it a higher crime area than most semi rural places ?? How big is the town you live in ?? All go against you in the post code lottery.

I think they prefer non city folk keeps the premiums down
Finally sorted my 'issues' with LRI (only took 4 months ) so I thought I'd give NFU a chance instead
Looks like I stick with LRI or forget about off-road cover and wing it
Did someone say Frizzell do off-road cover now (and will put in writing)? If so I'd happily give them chance to quoteThe End
Just had my renewal from LV (with CSMA membership discount) £415 FC, PNCB, business use for me & SWMBO. I called and double-checked with them whether the Off-Road cover was still valid. The operator went back through the records, found my original enquire and their response from December 2007 and confirmed that yes it was still the case that as long as it wasn't a competitive event, the vehicle was covered for Off-road use, such as on forestry/agricultural land as well as normal road and green lanes use.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
