Night driving with my sat nav screen
Just had a long dark journey home. I didn't need to use the sat nav, but the screen was just on. I find that it is a distraction when driving in complete darkness.
So, can I turn it off in such circumstances, looked in the book, but can't find it.

right hand button below the screen - settings and turn screen off
you need to do it every time the ignition is turned off

Square box with a red X in it switches the screen off ISTR.

I turned mine down to minimum brightness and is much better at night.2006 TdV6 HSE.
