3pm to 7pm is probably the worst times to drive Highway A1. There isn't an alternative, so fingers crossed!CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

Cheers for the advice guys, that's decided then, I will cancel the car and we will take the new Hanzelijn to Zwoller and the local train to Heino . Far less stress with 6 kids, appreciate the advice. On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Watch carefully on the train time tables since they are operating on a "winter schedule" these days due to the snow and ice.
This means fewer trains and a different time table. Trains can also be more packed then normal.
Road conditions are pretty normal now; only tuesday was a mess because of the snowfall.
Around Schiphol/ Amsterdam there is always some kind of heavy traffic around the time you mentioned but to be honest I don't think it will cause a delay for longer than maybe 10-15 minutes.
