NO LONGER NEEDED> trailer from Stafford to "darn sar |
|
Anyone passing through Cannock heading south able to help? I'm considering buying a small livestock trailer (6' x 4' unbraked, not some monster cattle trailer) and they are like hens teeth, hence me looking at one half way up the country.
I'm still waiting to clarify a couple of points on the spec and condition, but if it's a go would there be anyone who could either a) get it some of the way down south or b) collect and store it locally until I can come up one weekend and grab it.
Beers/Wine/Flowers for your better half in exchange for assistance, obviously. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

.... witty comments as to your "location" in your details don't really help define down south.....
Sorry - pet hate at the moment!

Blimey, we all get about don't we
Should get the answers to my remaining questions later today and will get on touch with assorted members accordingly.
JDB, it would be pointless asking for delivery to Dorset as member numbers here are relatively small. A generic Darn Sarf gets it close enough that I can collect. My pet hate is joyless, pedantic miserables. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'll be travelling from Bristol to Lyme Regis, just inside Dorset, on Saturday if that's any use.

I'll be travelling from Swindon to Tunis on Thursday/Friday/Saturday next week.
I'm not offering to help, I just thought I'd say.

Folks, looks like it's a hold on this particular trailer. There are two capacities of Ifor P6e and this one turns out to be the 500kg version, which is too low for my needs.
Ah well, back to searching FWi, eBay and preloved and scouring local farm dispersal catalogues
Thank you all for your kind offers of help.
Alan I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
