Bit stumped then  - I'll speak to some of my work colleagues who support systems like this daily for our customers and see if they have any other bright ideas. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

My amateur  guess would be changes afoot in the DISCO3 server, which now produces brilliant e-mail summaries of the post alluded to.
The site has been up, down, quick, slow, issuing summaries then NOT then ISSUING again - hallmarks of a major mod., flop, tweak, flop, tweak etc etc.
Whenever the NHS does a mod., flop, tweak cycle there is an unintended loss of functionality somewhere  - usually my own personal add-ons 
Happy to have retired from all of THAT...  but I did struggle for my hourly fix of D3.co.uk 
All good now 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

No, it's simply that e-mails to some people get queued for delivery later because they don't go through straight away. BT/Yahoo have a policy of rejecting the first attempt as a matter of course  Sometimes they fail completely, as seems to be the case with CFB.
It seems that people using BT and Pipex are the worst affected, there is also an Australian provider which causes problems too, but I can't remember who they are at the minute! 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
