I have a problem with my disco 3.
First of all i need to mention..... a week prior to this happening i put 22 litres of unleaded into the tank
i did not drive it but i had to turn over the engine to release handbrake. Pushed it of the forecourt until it was collected. The tank was removed and drained (no drainplug apparently) I had no problems with the performance for the week and i filled the tank after an intial 20 litres of diesel was put into the tank.
The second thing i want to mention is that i went on an off road recci on a site but this consisted of low gear with ruts and mostly green lane type terrain. (Sunday 19th).
So on monday 20th i took out the disco and found that it crawled along in first gear until it reached 2800 revs and then accelerated. Revs dropped slightly when gear changed and built up revs again to 2800 before it pulled away again. This happens althrough the gears. Have to keep it in 4th gear as their is very little response in 5th....unless i am on the motorway and have built up the speed.
There are no lights on display to highlight an issue.
In the situation were there is no acceleration i can put the accelerator to the floor and there is no difference in the engine output or noise....so i dont think it a clutch problem (i maybe wrong).
I have check that i am n normal drive mode. I have put it back into low gear and rutt terrain mode and back again to normal mode and its still the same.
Any ideas ....please. would be greatly appreciated.

If it wasn't for the misfuelling I'd suggest turbo failure.
....i had to turn over the engine to release handbrake.
Presumably you don't know about the emergency release then Even if you didn't why start the engine to release it The End

EGR's is relatively staight forward to prove or disprove by fitting a couple of 2p pieces to blank them off I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Yeah how about that!
The first time you don't mention them and................. I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
