Thank’Pete

Try pointing the 2 ends of the optical network together at the screen and see if that works.

The two ends from the central unit to the screen? That s right ?

Well you could buy something like this.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133684471837?ha...BM6NSl8Pdh

or remove the blue tab shown in the pic. Then the optical fibre can be released.

You Are trying to point the two optical fibres at each other. while the system is powered up.
See if the music starts and continues

HLDF CAN Bootloader Error

This problem can occur on vehicles with the Denso DVD-based touchscreen navigation system

is it the solution ?

Hi

What u think about this solution?

Integrated head unit
(IHU)/Infotainment system switches
off by itself after approx 30
seconds.
Security set on media
orientation system
transport (MOST)
software error.
Place vehicle into 'Transit mode' and out
again using WDS disc 10 or later ensuring
Security on MOST is not activated.

Does it stay for 30 seconds and then work again if you restart, or does it stop once everything is warmed up and won't operate again until cooled down? My only issues with the Audio on my D3 were caused by what I believe was a liquid spill into the top of the unit at some point in the past, it stopped working randomly and got trapped into phone mode but started up again in a random fashion - if I removed the fuse to the Bluetooth module it worked ok but then would go straight back to Phone Mode when the fuse was put back. I tried all sorts of contact cleaners and electrical circuit cleaners on the boards, unplugged and then replugged everything countless times but it kept going back to Phone Mode

Randomly the CD player would work, and one time I was able to get the RDS selected, and whilst driving along with no Audio an RDS message came through warning me of a holdup on a Motorway in another country - it then seemed to kick all of the audio systems back to life and has worked since!
 Must stop buying shiny toys....

Hi Darrind
GOOD MORNING
thank you for your answer... my concern is that the radio works for about 30 seconds with the gps screen and the cd player and then stops.. when the ignition is on it does not start again.. without contact it stops for 30 seconds and starts again when the on/off button of the radio is pressed, which is impossible, the ignition on

mayday Bow down

Philippe
