Noisy air suspension, sometimes |
|
Hi All,
Wonder if anyone has come across this.
My D3 has now done 61000 miles (almost 5 years old). I noticed today that when I change from normal to off road or access height, the air compressor makes a racket for say hundred yards then stops. When putting the height back to normal the same thing happens.
Is this normal given the age/mileage? Anything to worry about? An easy/cheap fix, or is it time for a new compressor? The car is only used on the road.
Cheers,

Could just need new bushes on the mounting points... mine did this and these were changed... all quiet now.
