My wiper blades have been getting realy noisy recently probably due to the wash and wax i use i was talking to a customer who said try wiping the screen with a potato cut in half, so i did and it worked no more noisy squeaky wipers (i was skeptical to be fair) but now i have a clean windscreen and no more noisy wipersRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

Did you use a King Eddie, Albert Bartlett, or a Jersey Royal !?
Would take ages with a Jersey Royal
Glad it cured your squeaking as they are so annoying when they do that.
It's many years since I have heard this suggested.
An alternative is dampened newspaper, other than the FT, of course.
You then have newspaper & potatoes - just add chips.
