Noobie, Hello & Mods!
Afternoon all!
I've been lurking in the background for some time now, watching and reading with interest, but decided to register today and enjoy the benefits of membership!
I live in Suffolk, and have a 2011 Disco 4 XS in santorini black with tinted rear glass. I've done some mods to it so far, mostly around it being all black, but have ordered an HID kit and some white side light bulbs from hids4u today.
Mods on it so far are:
All black front grille with black LR badge on, all black side grilles, black side repeater lenses, black bonnet wording (LAND ROVER), black LR badge and black Discovery 4 wording on rear, black door handle covers, black steering wheel LR emblem, and black painted wheels with black centre caps (not fitted yet, currently on winter wheels & tyres!) - just need to find some good quality black wheel nuts and a way to paint the locking wheel nuts in black so they look good too and we're about there I think!
Still want to put on a set of black side running tubes rather than the side steps because I think they look cooler, but have to be a bit careful of the missus noticing too much at once!!!
I did buy tinting spray for the rear lights, but I'm hesitant to use it because I'm not sure about legality, and also don't want to ruin the units!
Despite what some of you may be thinking, I'm not a 'boy racer' - I've just always wanted a big 4x4 with as much black on it as possible, and now I'm getting there!!!

These are some pics taken just after it had been valeted, and I'll do some more when its clean again - right now its brown rather than black - to show off all of it! The wheels I can show off later, as they're tucked up safely in the warm and dry!

hi k80_stu, just a thought on your locking wheel nuts. From what I've gleaned on the forum is that they can cause problems from swelling and then being difficult to remove. you may want to check that out.

Yes mate love my shooting, not had much time lately! My mates an RFD so get to play with all sorts and he does Kreighoff via Alan Rohne, nice guns bit rich for me, i'll stick with my Beretta's lol.
Wheels look smart, 2014 rear lights will look good too
