Very Happy I do like North Wales - feels like I'm on holiday the moment you get on the A55 - and less than 40 miles from where I live!

We have a getaway gaff in North Wales and have been escaping there for years the boys love the freedom to blat around on there quad bike or motorbike on the rolling hills around us, love it there.

Nearly bought one myself earlier in the year. Little more than a bothy and sat in nearly 4 acres.

My parents have lived in North wales for 25 years now (mum Welsh) and have been visiting every year since.

Love the mountains and try and camp at Llyn Gwynnant every year and do the trek up Yr Wyddfa with the lads.

This is an ace video taken from a drone of the SMR:

A bit naughty but the subject matter caught my eye and I thought, "Why not?"

My son Greg is quite a good photographer in his spare time and during a conversation he was having the other evening I overheard him say that he would be concentrating more of his future work in and around Snowdonia simply because he loves the place.

Anyway, if there are any photographers reading this who also enjoy 'the hills' perhaps they might be interested in joining one of his workshops. His portfolio also covers all the other bumpy bits in the UK. If you are interested why not have a quick look at his website: www.gregwhitton.com

If anything comes of this please don't mention me it's only because I'm quite proud of what he has achieved in the photographic world. Thumbs Up
