A couple of nights at San Pietro at Positano..... exquisite place and the weather will be picking up nicely...
But you need to be a construction company boss in the West Country with Londoner emmetts as customers to afford it...

We were two weeks in Phuket, Thailand for our honeymoon 11 years ago.
It was indeed in early April which made it something of an off-season event. The rainy season hadn’t started and the tourist season had ended. There weren’t many rains during the week.
We got an excellent rate at the Hilton for a normal room (it’s changed to some other brand since) and due to my insane status level got a really big suite complements of the management in the round building just by emailing them and asking politely for a favor. Pretty sure we wouldn’t have gotten it if there had been more revenue customers.
There are plenty of good hotels on the island and in general a lot to do on your own or as excursions.

Fantastic island, not too touristy, not too far away with direct flight, and our oldest British Colony.
