It was still parked on a central reservation a few weeks ago on outskirts of Walsall. Probably useful for slowing traffic if nothing else where it was parked

I'm surprised that it isn't illegal - impersonating a police officer is an offence under the Police Act and they do say in the article:

There is a Shogun parked in the grass verge on the way to Duckworths Land Rover at Market Rasen that amazes me has never been taken away - At night it even has a bright blue light near it to further look like there is a police car sat there!
Must stop buying shiny toys....

I would guess that the police quite like some "interlopers" where they are placed in a way that slows down traffic.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
