Did yours come with the full exhaust kit because I have seen these sold as night heaters for vans, lorries and campers
I may be Don Quichot, regarding this.... so last time in this topic... (i am not talking about the type of use like the TO does, he seems carefull!)
What you see for sale cheap, advertised as night heaters for van, lorry’s etc. is NOT certified in any way....
If there is an e mark, they are fake... not backed up by a real UK (or EU) certification...(or proof me otherwise)
There is no control on quality from any official agency or what so ever... if leaky (the unit itself) and placed IN your van, lorry or camper, it is a one way ticket.....
So have a good life insurance, so your wife and children get some more money than you saved on a bargain for a cheap chinese “night” heater....
Sorry, i see no way to bring this more nicely..... meant well although...
Don’t worry mate it’s not for heating a motor that people are sleeping in we often work in the middle of no where and was thinking of using one to keep an area warm with all safety precautions followedD3 in Buckingham blue now SWMBO's Mine D4 commercial

Very much David!
Awning was 5 degrees this morning, now a toasty 15
Got up, switched it on, quick 15m walk around the field with dogs and warmed very nicely
From an operation point of view, must have had it on for a minimum of 6hrs yesterday, and used half a tank, tank size around 5l in total
Obviously in a tent/awning much heat lost, but inside a camper can see it getting up to 25+ degrees, max i got on my thermometer was 19+

Iggy, I think you will find the instructions state, stay in bed, switch on heater using the supplied remote, wait an hour, check to see if you can see your breath, if not, it is now safe to get out of bed. David

5 settings Gareth, currently on 3, all worked from remote or from control panel

Wonder if it would work on heating oil/kerosene? Siphon a jerrycan load out of the heating oil tank and then toastieness cheap as chips.
