At least you can relax in the knowledge that you’re going to be warm and comfy if you breakdown, courtesy of blanket and slippers  LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Joking aside ....the truth is the D4 had come to the end of term ...I looked at downsizing, really wanted to be going the hybrid\EV route but in the end when you sit in other models \ marques, then you drive the D5 and look at the wonderful cabin and gadgets, realise that it's relative cost is around you are currently paying, then you can forgive any ills 8)
