Want to add 2nd battery to each vehicle, have looked at Optima - ewhat's the difference between red & yellow tops.
Which split charge system best - traxide, Nat Luna etc

Red tops are generally starting batteries. The provide more power for a short period of time.
Yellow tops are like leisure batteries. They provide slightly less power but they give it for a longer period (days/weeks) of time.Ian

Traxide USI 160 + Yellow Top superb combination. Traxide excellent at keeping main & auxillary batteries healthy.
That will be down to you Mick if I go ahead, should keep you out of trouble for a bit.
