For NWoods. Lifted springs for D3 coiler. Data |
|
Hi,
in the other post I opened I already hang the data from that french workshop that fits the lifted coil springs to D3. Just to make your research easier, here they are.
It's the man from technicauto
www.technicauto.fr
or
www.centre4x4.fr
Telephone: 00-33-4-75-85-72-92
Fax: 00-33-4-75-85-74-08
Address: Quartier Ponsoyes Est
26320 St-Marcel-les Valence
hope you can find your lifted coils for your D3. A 2-3" lift is the maximum allowed for the D3, as it makes the transmission work at limit operation angles (and you won't want to break anything). It's a piece of cake.
By the way, have a nice weekend! Regards, Robert

Roberto - this is exactly what Nathan has been hanging out for. He can now rest assured that his machine no longer has to have many trips to the service centre to have the scratches cleaned up from it's underbelly.
Great find!! and some great photos on the site (Nathan's LR3 is white also).

Example with Babelfish http://babelfish.altavista.com/:
English translation :
The formula is simple. You take the least expensive of Discovery III, the S, motorized by TdV6, then two qualified men, Patrice Ryder de Outback Import and Christophe Boulocher de Technic Auto close to Valence. Make mijoter the whole in a workshop one half-day with graph paper, pens, a slide caliper, one meter and a hydraulic ramp, take care to move away the telephone and any other mean of communication... A few weeks later, you obtain - of exclusiveness - the last born of the Rover Land with the long course! Since time that one awaits the hypothetical one going down from the icon of the mark, Defender, some faded Land lost patience. Taking lumbar age and some pains, heritage of thousands of kilometers in Def, they were often turned, the broken heart, worms of other marks to find more comfort. Stop-all! The heir is there, under your eyes
Took me less than 5mn... Georgia On My Mind...

Those pages are coming from an article which was written in the French magazine UNIVERS LAND.
They are probably reproduced here as part of some comercial arrangement between the Magazine and the Dealer...
They DON'T exist in English...
So either use online translation or buy yourself a dictionnary...
No everyone speaks English, you know? Georgia On My Mind...

No worries, Mate !
But the sad fact remains... This is French only !
Thus online translation is probably your best bet... Georgia On My Mind...

as stated I used babelfish to read it. just copy and then paste the url into babelfish under the translate a web page, then from the drop down menu select french to english, click ok and it works ok. (if u haven't already done this)

For those users (like me) who are stuck with the most expressive language only, here is a link to the site Roberto mentioned (and translated). I could tell you how I did it, but I would have to shoot you!!
Translated page here. Even so it looks suspiciously like a Kia manual translator is doing a bit of moonlighting, if you get my drift.
It's not rocket surgery, but it must seem like it to those of us that are locked into English - even the Aussie version...

And the key fact on the last page:
Kit 4 ressorts King Springs + 60 mm disponible en « Médium » (rehausse « trialisante ») ou « HD » (Rehausse « lourde charge ») : entre 135 et 150 € pièce Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

You're right simon! Bloody computers ('scuse my French!).
This is how I did the translation that worked for me but not in the link above.
1.) I copied a sentence of French text (that included Discovery III - unique text) from the website.
2.) Used Google to find the French sentence and then used the 'Translate this page' option.
3.) Checked other pages and they were in something like English.
4.) Pasted the URL of the translated site into my post.
5.) Checked that it was still working in the Preview before posting (had been caught before with links).
Your mileage may vary - sorry about that and I don't know how to fix it in my previous post. !!
