NWS engine

I'm going to look at a 2006 Discovery 3 Metropolis tomorrow. My dilema is... it has an NWS engine fitted, by Oval 8000 miles ago. Is it worth a punt or should I avoid at all costs as I haven't read a good thing about NWS on this forum! Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome Ollie_Mottram Thumbs Up

I would want to see the paperwork proving that Oval fitted an NWS engine, as, like you I find this somewhat surprising.

Good luck

Keep us posted.

Why? I'd be more than happy is Oval fitted an NWS engine. Oval have a great reputation and wouldn't risk it with a cr4p engine.

What you'll realise on here is that you get the views of a forum, which is narrow, which might not reflect the reality of the wider world. Having said that there is also some great knowledge and experience, you've just to keep your eyes wide open.

Thank you both for your response. I've requested a picture of proof that it has been done by Oval. They do have a good reputation, as you say. I'll make sure to keep you updated!

Therein lies the problem. NWS = Not Worth Sh*t

I'd be very surprised if they did fit something from NWS, and if they did, I'd stay well clear of it Thumbs Up

Intrigued. On what basis or evidence do you reach that conclusion?
