Object under skid plate
Need some help please, have just been changing my skid plates, and when I removed the Aux gear box, this part was lying in the skid plate, could not see where it has come from, looks like it has been missing for a long time, with the dirt there is on it, dose anybody know where it comes from, !!!

Not seen the pictures but, is this perhaps the bit that is supposed to be discarded in the "oil in the brake servo air line" recall that everyone seems to find eventually?A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. Nothing to worry about....this is the bit that Navigator was talking about.
It is the old anti-return/vacuum valve that fell off when they carried out the P017 brake recall.

Now that was an impressive diagnosis Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
