Yes it is, I get a warning at about 25-28mph to slow down or suspension will lower then at 30mph it goes down Thumbs Up

I've had the warning a few times, when accidentally pushed it into off-road height, you get the warning and then it lowers (as per Hairy Dan) - 30mph sounds about right Thumbs Up

Height

I was hoping this had been changed as per the RRS. It is a problem driving so slowly on some of Botswana roads traveling long distances.

You can get normal height to be adjusted higher if needed.

Its about time some of our electronic wizard sponsors provided a simple fix, just stop it lowering at 30 mph.

Think 50-55 would be good Thumbs Up

Well Llams does just that and the IID Tool allows you to pre-program a custom set of heights and hold them in memory.

Or the Nanocom (-50mm to +50mm). Takes less than a minute to plug in and change the values.Have mine set to +20 right now. Just write down the original values somewhere to go back to factory settings.

Black pack, Traxide D4-1U with jumpstart, Whispbar Rack, Nanocom, 285/50r20 Cooper LTZ's, Side steps, NZ spec-no DPF.

Llams is just more user friendly. Change height setting on the go with a switch. Thumbs Up

I agree, Llams take it to another level, but the Nanocom is quite a handy little device that does many things.

So, with the programming Tools (IID, MSV2, NANO, etc..) you need to reprogram the normal Height of the car all the time you need to change... if you want to drive normal height on the road you need to stop and reprogram the car all the times.

The external modules (Matzcker, LLams and Mudtech) give you the possibility to shift instantaneously from normal and lifted or lowered with different steps.

Another solution is the change of the linkage on the sensors, really cheaper than all the other systems. Someone have made it by himself.

You can buy a set of rods to fool the sensors and achieve off road height at speeds above the default 50kph. They are easily installed and quickly activated and can be removed to put the car back to factory setup. They are sold by Green Oval Experience in Australia. Haven't bought a set myself as I've only had my D4 for a few months but they get positive reviews on the AULRO site.

Here is a link.

I belong to the Australian Land Rover Owners Forum (AULRO) and this vendor is highly regarded. He sells two types of rods at AUS$110 and AUS$160. There is an explanation of how they work on this web site too. Might pay to have a look - it may be the solution you're after.
