off road sat nav

Hi,
Anyone any idea how to use the offroad sat nav in the D4? what can it do? and is it useful for laning etc?

Also how to get out of it once your in it? its a MY 12 so the slightly newer menu if that makes a difference?
I searched & searched around the menu's there was literally nowhere to select back to onroad. had to do a 'reset back to defaults' in the end and it reset back to onroad. I'm sure it will be glaringly obvious when someone points it out.

I’d also be interested in how to use the off-road nav.

To get back to the normal nav I think you just have to press the nav button again and the option pops up

It’s a bit of a gimmick

You can set and store waypoints, which could be the start, end or known points on known lanes, It has a compass.

I used it in Morocco to get to a waypoint in the desert. Even that was not straight forward as the coordinates have to be entered in hours minutes and seconds. If your given them in a different format you need to know how to convert them before entering them.
