Hello
Do you have any experience with third party offroad tires/wheels sets for disco?
I have 18'' wheels, what is the minimal size that fits disco?
Any advices appreciated

Pior,
Gee amazing no one has posted a reply for you.
I don't know what you can get in your country (assume it is Poland) but this is what we can do in Australia and a few in the UK have done.
If you have a V8 petrol then you're going to have trouble because you cannot fit the LR D3 17" wheel but it looks like you have a TDV6.
You can fit the LR D3 17" wheel and you can fit a Cooper Discoverer ST or STT in a 245/70/17". These tyres are about 4-5% bigger than the 255/60/18" Goodyear Wrangler you have. The ST is an All-Terrain and the STT is a Mud Terrain.
The other option is to go with the Goodyear MTR as fitted to the G4 D3 in a 19" LR D3 wheel. Once again it all depends if you can get the tyres and wheels.
There is a Nitto Terragrapler in a 265/65/18 that some LR3 owners in the USA have gone with but I think these tyres are a bit too big and don't fit easily in the spare wheel space. The US guys don't have any options as the TDV6 is not available and they have to fit 18" wheels or the 19".
There is another tyre option by General called Grabber AT2. It is available in 255/55R18 (slightly smaller than your D3 tyres) and in the future 255/60R18 (Coming fall 2006)
Hope that helps

Thanks a lot Chris
That really helps. I do have TDS on 18" wheels. So the smallest size of wheels I can use is 17" on LR3?
I also had in mind using some 3rd party steel wheels. Any ideas for that?
Regards
Piotr
