Off tarmac steering wheel vibration
Hi all, took my first green laning trip in 22 months (2 months normally a long break in previous 30yrs bar lockdown ! )last Thursday and first trip in the D3 since buying it last November. I have had a slight vibration around 50/55mph on tarmac like a wheel balance issue but had worse so not checked as I may swap tyres. Anyway, on the lanes over rougher, rockier sections there was a lot of knocking/kicking of the steering wheel like a missing steering damper on an older vehicle so what could the main culprits be ? Arm bushes ?
Many thanks, Gareth

The possibilities are numerous including wheel alignment, but track rods/ends, susp arm bushings, upper & lower ball joints, drop links, steering rack mounts, etc should all be checked for wear.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
