Went to order forex yesterday for our upcoming trip to Bots and Zambia. According to the bank they do not keep Kwatchas and will also not buy back any - recommend $US which apparently will be acceptable EVERYWHERE !
Anyone who can confirm this - if need be I suppose one can change Rand or $US once in Zambia - sounds as if R1 = ZK500 ?

Get small denomination dollars - bigger notes are treated with suspicion .
