I asked them every year at renewal and they assured me that they did (as long as it wasn't competitive). MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

For information, as a "green lane" is a BOAT and a legal right of way, all insurance should cover you for use here.
Note, for private land (as in pay and play described above) you do not need any insurance at all - legally speaking. In much the same way that a non road legal vehicle without an MOT can "play", so can you in your road legal vehicle.
Be careful about the terms and conditions. My insurance, for example, only covers me for pre-planned club and event oranised "pay and play" cover.
Note also, competition cover is a completely different kettle of fish.
I am insured by Performance Direct on their specialist 4x4 scheme that covers all this and will also cover, free of charge, modifications too - bearing in mind how modified my vehicle is, this is rather handy.
£300 a year and it includes full EU recovery breakdown and legal expenses too.D3 07 SE - still going strong

On the issue of competition cover, my client Performance Direct has a sub division that specialise in this. Amongst others they insure the Aston Martin team.
Note, unless you are truly a racing team this will not interest you as the cover is generally speaking total loss only and in the case of the AM team the cost is about £80,000 per annum per vehicle
