offroading with the big boys
more trips to the hills this time with a BIG F150 Raptor SVT nice..for blasting across Mexico bumpy on these tracks.
ok so photos coming up are rough but it was very bumpy said my pal in the F150 (no air suspension you see... )it bottomed out several times on the bumpy climbs..not me
so starting easy
then over the edge to the rock face (photo taken before the drop off)
Wild pigs a plenty..( thats what we stopped for you can just make them out in the background) Guess what we had for lunch
heading up to the peak
and down again
the track had seen quite a bit of use since last time I drove it and was getting quite rutted in places
the pictures are taken in the mildest areas as it was too rough to capture the other parts (and nobody wanted to get out to take any)
the F150 used about a quarter of a tankfull mmm frugal it isn't but thats the price of 6.2L the F150 was not really a fish out of water but the most successful approach seemed to be to just gun it in second to get up the climbs. where as I used third and a conservative amount of speed. It does sound nice tho'
