Oil in exhaust

Just changed the centre exhaust box on my 300 tdi and it was full of oil. I only use it for taking the dogs out so performance is not an issue and very really go over 50 mph. Should I be worried ?

Oil in exhaust usually means turbo bearings/seals failing.

Steve.

Welcome, sefef.

300tdi ? Whilst many of the folk on here are incredibly knowledgeable, you might find better help on other forums?

Sorry if that sounds unwelcoming... not my intention.

SASDISCOS is probably on the right track.

You sure it was oil and not just black water?

Maybe he retrofitted a 300Tdi lump instead of the PoS TDV6? Whistle
