Oldest Discovery 3 still out there?

I bought a Disco 3 a couple of months ago and am thoroughly enjoying it, nearly 2.5k miles in it now and nothing disastrous failed yet....

Its a 54 plate, and got me wondering, are there any other 54's around still? I've not seen any is all.

It probably took a while to get to SA.

My original D3 (YE54 DVA) was Nov 04. It was on mot checker until about a year ago, now not there so presume it’s scrapped or on a private plate now.

My D3 is registered December 2004, it’s been running really well until the day before I was due to head up to northumberland and Scotland last weekend when it decided to empty all its coolant over the local petrol station forecourt just after I’d filled it to the brim! Its a fabulous motor With 145k on the clock and don’t see me parting with it anytime soon. General Grabber AT3's
EGR Valves Blanked
Aluminium sump guard
Tree/Rock sliders.
Bank Account - Empty.

There are 04 plate D3s about, the press launch was before September 2004 so these were on 04 plates. Customer deliveries didn’t kick off Nov/Dec 2004 so were mainly 54 plates. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

I have a early 05 and its never ever broken down since it came out of the factory. I have not replaced one thing on it !
