Yep, the deposit was with the company, arranged via the fleet manager, not the driver. Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

I’d tend to keep in with them and let them see you’re so reasonable, you never know what might come up in the future.

as above ... wasn't his to sell until the company released it to him.
Got my D1 that way and had to wait an extra month due to the company and their fleet management having issues.
on the plus side - and for reasons I never understood - they valued the D1 at about £3K less than I was expecting to have to pay for it.

He wasn't selling it to me, the company was via the fleet manager.
He just gave me a heads up it would be for sale and introduced me to the fleet manager.

Yes I agree, much better at being a car in many ways.
But unfortunately worse in three areas that are important to me.
Load space height.
Wasteline/window height.
Styling - In my very humble opinion.
