One-touch rear windows

According to the manual all 4 windows are 'one-touch' but my rear windows work differently to the front. The front windows go all the way down after a press and release but the rear windows only drop approximately an inch, pressing the button again they go all the way to the bottom.

I've recalibrated them but still get the same behaviour, is that standard?

What you describe is correct. The first touch is for ventilation, the second touch is to fully open.

Which makes perfect sense and was what I assumed, it just doesn't agree with the manual.

What did you do to recalibrate?
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Pretty simple, been a while since I recalibrated but you just lower the window and then hold the button fully down for a few seconds then raise the window and then hold the button up for a few seconds and it should be calibrated. I have always done them in pairs (front pair and then rear pair) and it’s been fine. Normally only have to recalibrate when the batteries been disconnected

The front windows should operate the same as your rears, a light touch to open manually, a heavy touch fully open or close, try open fully keeping you finger on the switch and count to 20 slowly after reaching fully open still keeping your fingers on the switch, then do the same fully closed, do this twice for each window.
On reflection the rears will not go up without you hold the switch, it is a safety issue Thumbs Up

My rears have one touch fully close. If there is any additional resistance they stop and drop a small amount.

Yep on checking mine they do the same, but in defence on the wife’s Fiesta they don’t and I’ve been driving that quite often due to the fuel crisis. Bow down Bow down
