Open your windows in hot weather!
Nearly burnt my butt cheeks off and then proceeded to burn my hands as I grabbed the steering wheel.

I've got wind deflectors on mine, you can leave them open a centimetre and no one will notice....

Its one reason I hate leather. Cold in winter and hot in summer. Loved the cloth seats in my old D3.New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

I put on my camping window vents (and thermal panels) to the rear of the D4 to keep things cooler.
However, it wasn’t such a smart idea to travel with the vents fitted, as after just a few mile I had to stop and take them off …….. the wind noise was totally unbearable.
Might look at adding something like “cling film” to them just for travelling.
...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

When it’s hot, I always put up a silver windscreen sunshade if I’m leaving my vehicles for more than a few minutes.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

The facility to control the internal temperature via your phone is a handy feature on newer LR models.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Simply keep the "unlock" button pressed down so all the windows open. Then have a bit of patience, wait a minute or so and the (hopeful) breeze will cool the car's cabin enough so it isn't such torture leaping in.
However did we survive without air con and climate control in the past?

Not only the cheeks, 47°C will prevent family inheritance issues!
We have windshields on the windows to leave a bit open, also cut sunscreens to size for every window. Usually just use on sunny side, also great at night sleeping in the car to keep warmer.

I've fitted the aluminium flappy paddles to my D3
Can't use them when it's sunny outside, they burn fingers

But does the new Defender also have the ‘b*llock’ cooling vent of the D3/D4. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

No, but refer to my previous statement ref cooled seats! They slowly pump ice cold air out of the perforated leather, and I can say that this really does keep the onions fresh 😜
