If you have keyless entry, closing should work by holding door buttons in for 3 sec.

Cheers Ken

You probably need to reset the one touch opening for each window. In turn open each window and then close it and take you hand of the switch then pull the switch again until you hear a click this should restore global closing.

My VW Golf closes the windows and sunroof if it starts to rain - ingenious use of the rain sensor!

Hi,

on my US LR4 the global opening works, the global closing is disabled. Sad

I hope my dealer will get the car to a new market configuration, so that this feature will work as it does at the european brothers... Rolling Eyes

Hi,

with the faultmate msv-2 it was no problem to change settings to permit global close windows on my US LR4. Smile

The sunroof does not work...

Greetings

What interest is there in an electronics module that would close all the windows on a third key press of the remote fob after switching off and exiting the vehicle. The same module would also open all the windows on third unlock key press of the key fob remote.

I'm currently getting together the equipment needed to do this and working on a prototype. The idea is that the module would be very small and would fit over the OBD-II connector so it would not require any hacking about or removing panels.

If anyone wants to get involved then feel free to PM me. I also have other ideas such as a forward motion inhibitor for those that return from a manual box to the auto and select drive when they mean to back out of a space etc.

Cheers,
Al

edit: It sounds commercial but I'm not a commercial operation yet - Note to the mods: I have every intention of adhering to the rules if there is enough interested which I hope there is but there is no point going ahead if it's not wanted Thumbs Up

Hi Al,

all D4 and LR4 are able to "glabel close all windows", so there is no need for a separate module! Only US, Canadian and Australian cars have deactivated the feature, which can be activated by software...

The module would be interesting to close the sunroof...

Greetings
