Would you buy a battery from ebay...?
As in one of these: eBay Item No. 270396854466 or eBay Item No. 230359946573 (I save about 30 gbp compared to Lux price)
Only reason I ask is that as I know very little about this sort of thing, I would be worried about getting a dud battery that wouldn't be obviously "broken"...until I realise it isn't performing very well a few months later...
Or am I just being too cautious or untrustworthy...? The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
