Original nav sat retrofi or aftermarket
hello guys. i own a disco 3 se V8 version, with base radio sytem., I was thinking of upgrading the audio system of the car. I actually want to fit a screen as in the hse version because of the looks. does anybody know if it is worth retrofitting the nav sat of an hse version'? also will I BE Able to see the 4x4 info ?
if fitting an aftermarket unit willi be able to see the 4x4 info ?
finally, instead of just installin a screen or a unit in there, has anybody thought of a split screen unit.meaning that you get rid of the base unit, replace it with a simple 2din unit and adding a 7"screen above ?
what other options are there ?
thank you J.p

impossible to fit the original OEM screen and Sat Nav (unless you're in Cyprus and called BBSspy) to a car that left the factory without one
there are other 7 inch screen options though - there's been a few people post pictures fo how and what they fitted Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Why would you want to retro fit an OEM sat nav?
Are you looking to get there via the most random route at a time which is totally unrealistic? Don't worry..... it only seems Kinky the first time you do it!
